Primary and Oakgrove Secondary are the nearest schools currently serving the development
area. Milton Keynes offers a choice of independent schools, with Bury Lawn, Milton
Keynes Preparatory School, The Grove, Fenwood and Akley Wood all located around
the city. Further education facilities include Milton Keynes College, with centres
at Bletchley, Wolverton and Woughton, an Open University campus and the De Montfort
University, which offers degree and post graduate level education. Cranfield University
is located just outside Milton Keynes, ten minutes’ drive from the city boundaries.
