Building Stronger Communities: Lagan Homes’ 2025 Sponsorships and Local Engagement

Posted July 30, 2025

At Lagan Homes, we believe that our commitment to building vibrant communities extends far beyond bricks and mortar. As part of our ongoing mission to support and uplift the areas we work in, we’ve continued to invest in local initiatives, sports teams, and community projects that make a meaningful difference.

Here’s a look at some of the sponsorships and contributions we’ve proudly made in 2025 so far:

Supporting Local Sport

Brackley Town FC – We’ve sponsored Brackley Town Football Club this year. Local football clubs like Brackley Town are more than just teams — they’re central to the community, bringing people together, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and inspiring the next generation of athletes.

Biggleswade United FC – Women’s & Disability Football – We’re proud to support the inclusive ethos at Biggleswade United FC, with a sponsorship dedicated to their women’s teams as well as their women’s disability and walking football teams. These programmes provide opportunities for participation, social engagement, and personal development through sport for people of all backgrounds and abilities.

Cultivating Wellbeing at Dunton Community Garden

We’re delighted to also be supporting the Dunton Community Garden, a volunteer-led initiative dedicated to enhancing mental and emotional wellbeing through the power of nature and community.

Located in a beautiful outdoor setting, the garden offers development opportunities and a wide range of community activities — with a strong focus on organic gardening. Run entirely by volunteers, the charity sustains itself through donations, fundraising events like coffee mornings and The Garden Party, and the sale of homemade preserves and fresh produce.

In celebration of their 25th birthday, our contribution this year is helping to fund a special cream tea for members — a small gesture to honour their incredible work and the supportive, healing space they’ve cultivated over the years.

Giving Back in Coventry

As part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement, we’re also planning to volunteer with a number of local organisations in Coventry, where our Willow Grove development is proudly located.

Our team is actively exploring opportunities to lend a helping hand — whether that’s through supporting local charities, participating in community clean-up efforts, or assisting with local events. We believe that being a good neighbour means more than just building homes — it means being present, getting involved, and making a real difference in the places we build.

Looking Ahead

We’re proud of the relationships we’ve built and the projects we’ve supported so far in 2025, and we’re looking forward to doing even more. Sponsorship and volunteering aren’t just about giving back — they’re about standing beside our communities as they grow and thrive.

If you’re a local organisation looking for sponsorship or partnership opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.

Let’s continue building more than homes — let’s build stronger, more connected communities together.
